One Step at a Time – Helping Kids in Crisis

On Sunday, March 11th, nearly 100 people of all ages participated in a walk-a-thon at Green Acres Mall to benefit children’s services at Peninsula Counseling Center. Participants were identified by an event tee shirt as they walked the mall at their own pace and gathered afterwards at Center Court to enjoy refreshments and information tables from the NY Islanders, Vitamin World, Achieve Fitness, Rolling River Day Camp, and Lucie B’s Jump ‘n Fun.
