One Step at a Time – Helping Kids in Crisis
On Sunday, March 11th, nearly 100 people of all ages participated in a walk-a-thon at Green Acres Mall to benefit children’s services at Peninsula Counseling Center. Participants were identified by an event tee shirt as they walked the mall at their own pace and gathered afterwards at Center Court to enjoy refreshments and information tables from the NY Islanders, Vitamin World, Achieve Fitness, Rolling River Day Camp, and Lucie B’s Jump ‘n Fun.
PCC Receives $12,080 From United Way of Long Island
Peninsula Counseling Center was recently awarded a $12,080.00 grant from United Way of Long Island to continue to provide mental health services to those seeking help, regardless of their ability to pay.
